The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black

coldest

So, it’s been a VERY long time since I have read a YA vampire book and this one didn’t let me down (that is, not until halfway through.) The following way I’ll be reviewing this book is by a rubric grading system that jennaclarek from YouTube created in order to give an unbiased grade to the book you’re reviewing.

I wanted to read this book because I saw a handful of booktubers discussing it recently and what sold me on it was the book trailer. Holy moly! The book trailer gives me shivers! This is pretty much how I looked during the whole video.

The book started out fantastic, and ended perfectly but the middle was a bit horrible. I expected more romance but this wasn’t like your usual vampire YA novel. You hardly even see the two love interests together. The ending through, gave me all the feels.
